These operator details match Section 1 of the Terms of Service. Because this app has no server-side data store of its own, the operator receives no project data you enter — the only personal data any party retains is what PayMongo collects directly from you at checkout.
What You Enter
Project name, building geometry (floor area, floor count, floor-to-floor height), occupancy type, climate zone, engineering inputs, and the financial rates (labor rate, margins, tax, regional index) you configure. All of it stays in the app's in-memory state on your device and is lost on refresh. It is never transmitted to or stored on a server — every MEPF calculation, engineering load, Bill of Quantities line item, and bid figure is computed locally in your browser. Avoid entering confidential client or project details in the “Project name” field, since nothing here is encrypted at rest beyond your own device.
What Gets Stored on Your Device
The app writes a single value to your browser's localStorage — your Pro unlock status (key mepf_pro_access_v1) — so the detailed BOQ, discipline breakdown, and compliance report stay unlocked between visits on that device. Clearing your browser storage removes it and returns you to the free preview. There is no account, no login, and no server-side profile.
Third-Party Services This App Calls
MEPF Design Pro has no database and no user accounts. It contacts outside services in only two situations, described below. Location or project inputs are never sent to a payment processor, and payment details are never mixed with your project data.

Checkout is created and verified through this app's own server routes (/api/paywall/checkout and /api/paywall/verify), which call PayMongo using a secret key held only on the server. This app never sees, receives, or stores your full card number, CVC, or e-wallet credentials — PayMongo handles those entirely, under its own privacy policy.
What This App Does Not Do
No analytics scripts, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, and no session cookies. Nothing you enter is sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train a model. There is no server-side log of your project inputs because they never leave your browser. The only personal data any third party receives is what PayMongo collects directly from you at checkout, plus the standard IP-address exposure inherent in loading fonts and any web page.
Payments and Regional Processing
Pro access is sold through PayMongo, which is optimized for Philippine peso payments (cards, GCash, Maya, and online banking). When no payment key is configured, the app runs in a clearly labeled demo mode that unlocks features without a real charge; in that mode no payment service is contacted at all. Refund and billing inquiries for real transactions are handled per the Terms of Service.
Children's Privacy
This is a professional engineering and estimating tool, not directed at children, and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of consent in their jurisdiction.
Your Rights
Because the app stores essentially no personal data of its own, most information stays under your direct control on your device — clear your browser storage to erase your local state at any time. For payment records (the one place your personal and payment data is retained), exercise access, correction, or deletion rights directly with PayMongo, whose records are the system of record for transactions.

If you deploy this app under your own organization, update this page to reflect your actual data practices, hosting, payment processor, and any backend you add. This notice is accurate only for the app as built here, which has no server-side data store of its own. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.

Engineering Disclaimer
MEPF Design Pro is a screening-level, pre-design estimating tool. Its physics engines perform real calculations — Darcy–Weisbach / Swamee–Jain hydronic pressure drop, IEC 60364-5-52 cable sizing and derating, and Hunter's-curve plumbing demand — and its costing model produces order-of-magnitude budget bids and quantity take-offs. It does not perform stamped load calculations, equipment selection, code-compliance submittals, or construction-issue documents. Quantities and costs are parametric estimates derived from building geometry, not a measured Bill of Quantities from drawings. Before any system is purchased or built, the design must be completed, checked against the full governing codes, and sealed by a licensed professional engineer.
